Although uniforms are not mandatory for the under 3’s, it is certainly an option for your child to wear one. In any event, clothing must be comfortable and for safety reasons, please avoid buckles, belts and other design elements such as fringes, tags, loops and hoods.
Uniform is not mandatory for all students attending FS1 classes but, as, we are preparing the children for FS2, it is strongly encouraged that the children wear uniforms. Wearing uniform can help the child to get used to the concept of a uniform. A uniform also builds a sense of discipline and solidarity that can also support children with their development. Please contact our Registrar for more details.
Jewelry of any kind is not permitted as the nursery will not accept responsibility for loss or damage. Some pieces of jewelry can also be a hazard for young children especially when they are participating in physical activities.
Shoes should be easy – fastening, i.e. no laces or buckles. We do not allow the children to wear flip flops as the children’s feet need to be protected adequately. All footwear should be suitable for a variety of physical activities.
